So Saith The Lord -- acrostic

Missing image

      So Saith the Lord

See the sun rise and know that the Lord hears,
In thine own heart I AM weeps o'er thy pain.
Still, thy Lord rejoices for thy Mother,
      Taking His daughter for rest she has gained;
Elusive freedom no longer a dream,
Released of illness once a prison bane.

Do you not know I have spared thy Mother,
Even from the terrors of these end days?
Be at peace, My child, and for her rejoice:
By her faith she has walked in her Lord's ways.
Yea, the day soon will come when she shall rise,
Safe in Christ's arms; eternal life her pay.
Mourn not, for thy Mother still lives yet sleeps,
Infused with love, that Satan's spite be staved.
Let go and build up thine own compliance:
Else thine foe plans to thrust his brutal blades,
Set to harm and twist thee, that Christ might fade.

    Beautiful.

Pretty. I am sorry for the loss...but this I hope brings comfort, for we the living mourn not the one whom has passed, but the emptiness left behind without them.

    Lovely Mom!
