Years Of Goodbye

Don't know what to see, what the world is meant to be
Emptiness and Silence, call out name,
I just want to know, who I can blame

Set my heart on fire, so that I can feel the light
Even a thousand years from now, I'll still say goodbye

Take away this darkness, I've decided stay,
In this room of memories, I'll build my cage
Set my soul on fire, so that I can feel the flame
Even a thousand years from now, I still feel the same

Author notes

I have no clue. I don't usually write lyrics.
I was bored with a guitar and that's what happened.
I will catch up with everyones writing asap. Been down & Been away, and now going again.
Miss you <3

Wow, great job as always, love. But uh.. how could you want to stay with the memories? I do my best to get away.. Lost many a brain cell for it too! But uh yeh well I'd say more but my poor wrists hurt and that's not good for my keyboard playing so...lates!

Great stuff sweet pea there are no doubts of your talent and from here you will grow and grow, you have a musical gift too and both together can only mean good things.Even if we become nothing in life writing poems and songs brings us a release only artistic people find.Just like sky divers, hand gliders, bungie jumpers we all need that buzz some get it one way some another but nearly everyone finds a release.Great piece.Dad
