Why do you keep ignoring us
When we tell you what's going on
Why don't you listen
When we say somethings wrong
How can you ignore our pleas
all our pain-filled screams
our calls for help
How can you leave us
in places where they torture us
why is it you break families apart
over simplicities like a dirty house
and yet ignore the bruises and complaints
just because a person ACTS distressed or caring
because a person pretends to be the devoted parent
the law abiding christian yet never steps a foot in the church
You don't help people
you torture and kill them
you allow them to be torn apart
to be stripped of all confidence
you let them get daily beatings
and nightly rapes
you let people lock us up in closets
you help THEM abuse us
you help them take away our self respect
dignity and innocence
so don't stand there proud saying you just want to help
YOU NEVER HELPED ME!
you turned me from a careless happy toddler
to a card board cut out of that youngling
you turned me into a rag doll torn and broken
the happy toddler turned into a scared hurt lonely child
in only a few months there was nothing left of who I was
only of what I had become
you are the reason my foster brother
was able to molest me when I was 3yrs old
you gave me to an abuser and her rapist son
you virtually placed me in that closet
you gave them the key to innocent victims
my big sister my Lil brother me
why wouldn't you listen?
what couldn't you see?
how hard was it to help us?
why couldn't you place with our family
an uncle or an aunt
my big brothers got to be with our grand parents
while we get place in a jail
I hate you so fucking much
I hope you burn in hell

I hate Social Services for a different reason! They make everything to dramatic.

Hmm.. Social services.. Useless blind fools, they believe even the most feeble of excuses. I’m sure they purposely do nothing just to make it easier upon themselves. My personal experience with them goes no further than interviews, inspections and lie telling, but I still seriously agree with what you say in this piece. Your experience it seems goes much further and with far more negative in nature. It’s awful how these things can happen, especially when those who are supposed to be there to help us near enough cause them.
Anyway… the poem is very well written, well expressed pain and anger with a very clearly presented content. Well written -

It's unbelievable that foster families that aren't qualified or reputable are given innocent children to basically destroy. I'm not saying there aren't loving, wonderful foster families out there because I know they do exist. I don't understand how people who aren't so loving and wonderful end up gaining access to helpless, defenseless children, who are so desperately in need of stability and love, and instead these children are used and abused. It sickens my heart. I truly applaud you for being able to share your story. You are a brave and strong young lady and you've written a strong, moving, and powerful piece!! Just know that I care about you very much!! Take Care Hun!!
