In the magical dreamland only I can see,
I dance on waves of rainbows.
Glimmering softly on velvet skies,
I pirouette against the darkness.
Dance with me. Take my hand.
Running through the fountains of liquid pearl,
streaming out ribbons behind me.
I hold an arabesque on the peak of the horizon.
My dreams can be our playground tonight.
My feet are flying, yours now glide.
Touch everything and see it for what it was meant to be.
Use your heart and flirt with your fantasies,
Together we will dance on the edge of reality.

I'd love to know which medication you took.

This sounds beautifully, being able to see not just the person dancing, but the dance itself. The images this creates. Impressively beautiful.
I really loved the imagery you used in this, liquid pearls and rainbows. "Together we will dance on the edge of reality." That line particularily.. the whole idea is so fanciful, so beautiful and then to bring in reality. It gives me the idea that this is something that could be real.
Thanks for taking the time to enter and best of luck in the contest.

amazing
This is a very beautiful poem darling. I know I'm a little late in my response but you gotta give me credit considering I didn't even know this site existed yesturday. -
Very interesting. I will definitely dance with you! When reality and fantasy are next to each other, the edge is certainly going to be most fun. Just curious, why you have to take medication? no offense.
