Two young girls from opposite sides of the world
With the wonder of AP a certain friendship will unfurl
Ellie age 10 from Ireland,
a wonderful poet with a heart of gold
From Australia Paige recently joined us
will have many stories to be told.
In the years ahead I hope
their friendship will be rewarded
And that each poem they write
Gives delight
and pleasurably be greatly awarded
With critiques from the best
Who will acknowledge the words they read
Seeing promises of great poetry evolve
As they grow older and sow their seeds
They may not be an Elizabeth Browning
They may never write a play
But I can guarantee
What you will see is
Amazing exquisite displays
Perhaps I am a little bias
For I am so fortunate in my quest
They are my adopted grandchildren

I feel soooo proud and lucky just to have you as my AP Nanna You are one of the kindest, nicest people I know and you write so mnay beautiful words which inspire me and make me smile I hope Paige loves this poem just as much as I do. I bet she will because it is such a great poem and very kind I agree Paige is a great poet and I hope to read more poems from her real soon She seems like a lovely person too and its great she is part of my AP family too now
