Bee Nectar

Bee Nectar

I wailed with all the agony of a rising sun
at the loss of something undefined
as your fingernails traced tender lines
across the softest parts of my flesh

Oh the (sin)sation of your touch
the pain that lingers in a longing unreached
like holding your breath so long that your lungs
                                                                   ache
Then sucking in that life giving air
again, and again, and again…

Place your tongue        right...there
let it linger for moments long
as you breathe a heavy mist of human humidity
on the pinkest of pink, and think
of the way honey rolls heavy in the mouth
and teases the senses like
             butterflies mocking moths

Open up and devour me; whole
not bit by bit, nor piece by piece
but take all of me in one fail swoop
one gust, one swallow, one exhausting smile
ravenous and wild

But never my love; my lover
let even the smallest amount of bee nectar
escape your lips,
and meet a terrible death upon your chin
or…                                 I      will      die

Consider me flattered Wayne. I believe more in sensuality than erotica. If you think about it, honey is very sensual. Slow moving, thick, heavy, sweet and sticky...ok now I excited myself. LOL. Thank you for the wonderful comment my new friend.

      Blessed be,

The imagery here is enough to sweep the dust from off me - a truly inspiring sense of life unfolding. So delicate yet intense, flowing ever so smoothly across the page. Your words are eloquently chosen, and perfectly placed. This is such an amazing piece of poetic indulgence to feast upon... Wow! That is one of the only ways I can describe it. Great word play and unique potency throughout!
