How can I care for you after all your lies
Never really trusted so much til I heard your grieving cries
Now I see the fool I am standing here today
Questioning every word you spoke with my heart so torn away

Never doubted in your love or the friendship that we shared
Now I doubt myself,my gut,since my judgement is so impaired
Wonder if it matters much that my love for you was true
Tons of doubts are all I have,abandoned here by you

    Those thoughts are allowing the beautiful Deena that I know release the toxins of that person. Sometimes anger serves us to become that powerful person that we truly are unfortunately we must go through the pain first..to come out on the other side to the one who is always your best friend..YOU! We are powerful loving spirits & Our spirit always let's us know that we are where we need to be..it's a journey. At what matters is that we accomplished our journey and goals. Then when you look back you know they really never left. They are always with you..because we are All Love..

    wow that was a terrifically written poem; so honest and sad. pained by a friend, someone we love, can be so difficult to deal with. well done on describing that pain so well, so beautifully.

    I have been in this very place. Its the pain of knowing you gave your all but receiving no return. I am sorry that you ever had to feel this kind of pain. I'm still haunted by heartache, long past. Never doubt your gut. I know that you may doubt because you feel like you made a bad judgement, but you may have been lead to this person, to learn a lesson. Take that with you. Allow that to consume you instead of the pain.

    This is a beautiful write Deena, heartbreakingly beautiful.

    Sometimes I read these works that speak of let down and betrayal and feel so bad because I don't come by as often as I should. I do hope you know that even when we don't speak, I carry you in my heart, keep you close in spirit and say prayers for you daily. I hate it when someone I love feels hurt and neglected. These words sting! The singe the spirit and cause the heart to decay. You are such a giving person Deena. Know that you are loved, respected and adored by so many!
