Tell your friend, your favorite Hatter.
Quickly get it off your chest!
Of all the Dragons, you’re the best.
A pretty dragon shouldn’t cry,
So lift your head up to the sky,
Let out your proudest loudest roar,
That’s the spirit! Now, once more!
Favorite Dragon, now what’s wrong?
You’ve looked so sad all day long!
No more crying, no more tears,
No more problems, no more fears!
I can’t stand to see you sad,
I just can’t stand it, it drives me mad!
Pretty Dragon, do a spin,
Then let out a roar again!
Favorite Dragon? Not again!
Your tear-ducts must be running thin!
Pesky problems! Go away!
We don’t you need you! Not today!
Not tomorrow, not next week,
You’ve made my dragon quiet and meek!
Pretty Dragon, spread your wings,
Fly up high (think happy things)!
Favorite Dragon, better now?
Don’t you worry, don’t have a cow!
This time I’m sure I’ll make you glad,
I know what will take away your sad:
Just do everything you did before,
It will work this time, you can be sure!
Just spread your wings and do a spin,
Let out a roar and take off again!
Follow this poem, step by step,
Be quite precise, and don’t forget.
Pretty soon you’ll feel okay.
And all your problems will go away.
Do them once, and then again,
You'll feel better than you've ever been!
Author notes
Well, this poem is obviously for my Favorite Dragon. ^_^ She knows who she is.
It's got somewhat of a childish/quick-paced rythm, so I put it under "children's",
it's also to make her feel better, so it's also under "hope",
And it's a bit silly, so of course it goes under "humor".
As I'm sure you've noticed, I instruct my Dragon to do three things to make herself feel better: Roar, Spin around, and then Fly.
Obviously, since the verses continue, none of these work. So, I ask her once more to simply do all three things at once, and since that's where the poem ends, I guess it worked!
Now, here's the funny thing about it:
Despite her silly tasks, there's one more joke, of the poem as a whole.
The definition of insanity is REPEATING THE SAME TASK, EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!!! (ahah! You KNEW I was alluding to something! The fourth stanza asks her to do everything again, remember?)
^_^
We're all mad, really.

Ah but once my 20 days are over I shall be going back to Bloody Dragon Fangs. Do not fret my favorite Hatter. It'll be soon.
*hugs you tightly* -
LoL
Well, a comment in the same rhyme scheme as my poem was certainly amusing.
My Dragon has changed her name once again. She's now known as Deaths Toy (her comment above).
But thanks for taking interest in my poem! ^_^ -
Hatter:
Alas I have changed my name yet again...but thank you for the poem...
I truely expected something this great from someone who is definantly and utterly Mad..like me.
And by the way...I killed the Queen of Hearts, she was after your favorite teacup.
I love you Hatter

Great peom
Noble Hatter,
Hear our plea.
Who is this dragon of which you speak?
Do we know her?
Or can we meet?
For precious Dragon should never weep.
Give us a chance to sing a song, so that she can soar all day long.

4 old applause
