Tainted love

Such a thing love is. A strong emotion yet a tainted emotion as well. Such a thing is love. With its hidden meaning behind those three little words.

Love is oh so...difficult to place an exact definition on. To love one and to have the feeling returned is what love is.

Like a tender leave falling off a tree. Love is an endless and boundless joy. Like the laugh of a child so innocent and free. The song of a bird on a midsummer's eve. The lighter side to love.

Such a thing love is. What makes the world go around in an endless loop of kindness and peace.
Such a thing love is. But like everything else in the world it will forever remain...tainted by mankind.

I don't think your poem stinks at all. If anything stinks, it's probably me because I can't smell your poem and the only one that is close to myself right now is... me! But anyways... I thought your poem was pretty good. I liked the way you described love without doing it the typical, cliche way that a lot of people do. You described a pure love so well here. One suggestion to make on your poetry would be your form. It seems like you wrote out sentences in a poetic way. What I suggest is dividing up your lines to put this into more of a poetry form. If you need suggestions on doing that, just let me know and I'll tell you more what I meant. Great work, though! Thanks for sharing!
