Darkness gives way to the faintest forms of illumination.
Science has been trying since the beginning to understand exactly what light is... Still a mystery in so many ways, it perplexes those who seek to define the limitations of the physical world and categorize things into tidy boxes.
Even harder to define is the reaction of the human heart to the appearance of light upon the landscape on a summer’s eve, skittering across the water on a clear blue lake, raining down upon us from celestial bodies wandering the heavens, or sparkling behind the eyes of a loved one revealing the roaring flame within.
Reproducing such things on film may be easy enough with the right equipment. Capturing such things in words... can be as elusive as holding moonlight in your pocket.
Can the bright glory of the sun, or the faint whisper of starlight be captured within the black ink of a poets pen? Oh! My friend, let us keep trying...

Now that is a good presentation.
"holding moonlight in your pocket"
It's very late here but something tells me your poetry will be worth reading at this late hour

...and what's even more incredable, dear heart, is that even through some extreme circumstance in which we might find ourselves plunged into the blackest of black holes in this universe..still, inside, that light burns brightly and I can be witness to that. Hence, darkness is removed.

So true, dear poet. The light fantastic is beyond our understanding. What a gift that there was light to behold and that we would recieve the gift of sight to be able to see it.
People ask for miracles as proof of Gods love when the most fantastic miracles have already been given.
Let us always keep trying to awaken the sleeping.
Bravo! Great poem. -
I have read your poems and I think shape poetry is so neat and beautiful...I wish I could learn how to do it and make it look right when done....I tried once but when it was on here the shape didn't look like it did when I was typing it out so I changed it to a normal poem....good luck

You have created a gorgeous presentation. I like the image that was provided because it compliments the theme of your presentation well.
You have Logos in stating simple facts that call on our logic to compare them to your opinions.
You have given your opinions in an intelligent, creative manner. This creates a serene feeling that makes me feel cozy reading; this establishes Ethos. You also have Pathos by using your words to play on emotions and senses throughout the presentation. Well done.
(Comments on poetry will be done after I have commented on all Presentations)

Shimmering words that inspire, refresh and bring forth the Light. Lest we forget... Thanks for the reminder! Obviously written by a poet who has "seen the light and lives in Awareness of the pure truth of each moment. Good luck in the contest! -
What a thought-provoking presentation. You have shed light on the inner-workings of the poet's mind. Your use of the spiritual aspects of a phenomenon that we all ponder at one time or another is an asset here. I am introduced to you by your words, and they surely make me want to know more.
This is breathtaking and indeed enchanting enough to create reason for me read further.
The best to you in the challenge.
Much Love,
Renee

Beautiful thoughts illustrated in your ink on the page. Yes,I believe the written word a powerful forum in creating all the heavens beauty. Painting alive portraites far better than the still lifelessness of reflecting on a picture.~~Suseann

Beautiful and Warm!!!
You have created a beautiful presentation in which the reader can sense romance, spirituality and bliss all in a subtle and yet forceful manner. Although the presentation looks very simple in its expression, it has in depth knowledge and power to force the reader to delve deeper into your works. The creativity of your presentation is amazing and very unique.
Now about the poems you have submitted, you have beautifully meshed nature and spirituality as both are so intertwined in reality. Through your eyes and words you take us on a spiritual journey where, nature and spiritually meets in beautiful perfection. The sky, space, earth, moon and sun all have there respective places in your poems, honouring them for the very different and yet unique way they meld in our lives.
I am sorry I do not have the time to comment on all your poems individually. Good luck in the contest.

How true your words are, dear Presence! The Poet's job can be a confounding one, but I dare say the sun and moon will bow with approbation and awe before ther poet's words than the director's film, for it is the essence of the sun and moon that the former endeavors to grasp and depict--it goes beyond the superficialities of the immediate senses, finding not only a ray of light, but a ray of light "skittering across the water on a clear blue lake, raining down upon us from celestial bodies." YOu have written a true gem, dear Presence!!!

Dear Poet, Paradise! Heaven! We forget and you remind us of what is important. This poem, the others, the comments, the connection....that is all that matters. Thank you and God bless you for sharing this with us. Jane -
Oh what a glorious stroll within the moon light
Scientists may not be able to explain it, but if you ask a child “What is Light?” They will tell you, it keeps away the darkness.
Every single time, I stroll through your works, I am bathed in the Eternal Light that shines from your Soul into the words that shine on the page.
Beautiful sweet, Presence. Thank you for bringing your Light to us!
