Blushfulmoon

Blushfulmoon

Beneath the stars as they twinkle bright
shining through the ethereal night
Unsung songs, life’s sweet refrain
shower down like comforting rain
Her laughter echoes through the days
lingering in my mind, within my heart it stays
Her untamed heart, so pure and true
living proof what love and faith can do
Through pain and strife, heartache and grief
she moves on, love and faith her sole relief
Once more from her heart she sings to me
through kindness, friendship and poetry

If I could define her giggles and smiles
as my funnybone she easily beguiles
'T would be that her own humour so strong
just wont allow for her to weep for long
Her laughter, sometimes through tears
has meant so much throughout the years
I can see her in her garden now
smiling and joking with each flower
As she tenderly cares for each and every one
Our own blushfulmoon, outshining the sun

for Susan …. my friend, my sis ...and poet supreme

Blushfullmoon is one of our most talented poets on allpoetry.  Her words are as beautiful as her soul.  Susan has become a dear friend...I think you'll enjoy her work as much as I do.

What a beautiful rendition of my poem, df I guess in my poetry I tend to speak too simply a lot of the time (most of the time ) leaving my poems sounding a bit plain incomparison to many other writers.

Your modification is quite a beautiful piece and I thank you for it I should try to be more metephorical sometimes. I already know I'm not good with them but I shall try harder

Thank you for your kind and observent comment/critique

    Hello catz,

This waas such a lovely sentiment! What a kind person you must be.

I see you can write metered verse. Not too common these days. If you are interested in a few tricks, read the edited version below. No need for explaination, you are clever enough to see the changes. If you are not interested in edits, please just ignore it. no harm done.

ty for help on pics, they are howing up now.

Awwww, this is so sweet and touching. Alas, I have not read Susan in such a long while..I must make a point of paying her a visit...I do recall that her poetry is tops on the site.
You are such a good friend Dee, to write such a glowing tribute to her. This is absolutely beautiful and I wish you both the best (I know through reading comments that she hasn't been doing too well... I pray that she is on the mend).
    A BIG

    excellent

A very lovely, flowing and glowing tribute to your friend, catz. A real pleasure to read from start to finish. Keep up the wonderful works.

(p.s. Now that I'm here, I'd like to tell you that I am encountering difficulties on the right side of my screen. There is a white internet explorer box that is blocking the part that allows me to send IM's, that is one of the reason's why I have to contact you like this, because I can't send messages. What do I do? )

    Thanks,

great. i like the part when someone dance with the flowers, i think i dance everyday with every thing in the world, the sea of our minds are the inspiration of the reality, the desert of our hearts is the water of all sons of our feelings, our poems.

    Dear Dee,
As beautiful a tribute to our mutual friend (my senior adopted daughter) as I would expect from your pen. We are praying for her quick recovery from surgery and hope that the pain which she has ebndured for so long will be relieved.
Susan's (Molly's) "Da" is looking forward to hearing from her again soon and, in the meantime, your poem gives those of us who are so concerned for her, renewed hope and comfort. Thankyou.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

    Yes, thanks for rephrasing that.

I read a poem of hers and left a Yemish comment. I just pray she has a sense of humor...or I'm dead meat, lol.

Lol... I think she's still too weak from surgery to bite ff your head, Yem... but she might save that little deed for later unless you're really, really nice to her and write her sweet flowery poetry (she loves flowers) bur she also loves humour and dark stuff .... so maybe you could write her a hilariously funny horror story abour flowers... tee-hee ...just don't let the flowers get hurt in your story...lol

Thanks for commenting and thanks in advance for checking her out... ummm... maybe I'd better rephrase that... thanks in advance for checking out her poetry.

    and love
    Dee

I don't know Blushy (I need to become her friend so I can call her that!) I, of course, know her by name. But Mariza knows her I believe and I know she's had a tough go of it lately. If I go visit her do you think she'd bite my head off, maybe say, "You get out of here you old stinky reprobate!" That would be accurate but sad.

It is indeed a lovely tribute...and she sounds like a lovely person.

I am going to visit her now...if she bites my head of and calls me names like, "Goober" and "Doofus" you will owe me a BIG apology!
