songs are heard almost everyday
the words wrap around our heart
about that god awful day.
It made the history books,
made us Americans take a second look.
we stood together not just as a country
or a single state, but a family that
could never separate.
with tears in all of our eyes
we joined hands, didn't matter what color
or where you statistically stand...
September eleventh was a dreadful day,
one that we wont forget,
our kids will grow up
and look at it as the past.
But I lived it... I was there.
I joined hands with my country
AND I STILL CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU WHO LOST, KNEW, OUR IS FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY AND ALL OF THERE FAMILIES...God BLESS YOU ALL.)

Amen! Lets all unite and say a prayer to God and then lets banquish the evil that has plagued our land! I really loved how you wrote this and I am in total agreence with you on this also.
