To have a sister, sadly some people will never know
some people will have but take them for granted
some will experience the love but loose to quickly
then there are those lucky ones who find so much more

They say your only as far as your heart allows
and to you my distant sister, my heart is beating steady
the soft drumming, matching your own so far away
an echoing call of friendship, love and understanding

For you my beloved sister i would bleed myself dry
go hungry, suffering, walk the line of life and death
search through the ends of space and time to find you
swallow my pride and fears if only to make you smile

Do not look forward to this new chapter in life saddened
snicker at the things to come and laugh at what is here
make plans and become anew with yourself, be your goddess
find happiness in the smallest flower and biggest heart

you will never walk this world alone as it may seem now
for there are many of us walking beside you on this path
we love you for your golden heart and honest evilness
we embrace you for your weakness and accept any faults

I love you for the laughter you bring my long days
for all the support and steady care you have given me
to the truths in myself you have taught me these times
but most of all for being you and never something else

we share this month to turn the years one more forward
together or apart well celebrate for each other again
