A Special Night

It was a night
that this old soul
would not soon forget
in  a battle zone
so far from home
a true moment of bliss

She walked across the floor
and ask me to dance
A sexy little red head
I just bowed and then said yes
It was a moment
this battled heart
would not forget
When I journeyed home
And was happy once again

Author notes

I had a good time the other night the first good time in a long time, Unfortunately the red head was half my age and it was only a dance or two but I still had a great time

I am glad to hear that you still were able to have some fun, which is important once in a while. Take Care, and stay safe while you are there, my friend.
