dearest jean-marc,
I love it when you use a minimum of words to express a maximum of truth
I could learn a lot from you, would I only listen ...
being able to concentrate one's thoughts into the essential, is being able to concentrate upon the essential in life, and to return to one's essence without effort.
you have shown us a mirror here, a mirror that reflects our minds that are usually overloaded and complicated ... a brief and efficient reminder of how simple things are.
some other poets in this contest have also mastered this art, and I am very touched by all this wisdom that continues to flow in in the form of som many exceptional poems.
many heartfelt blessings, my dear
maa

You are certainly welcome. All my pleasure

thank you again rod for your comment. yes, i just wanted to share with simplicity my feeling and understanding of inner peace. i will soon read the poems you propose. shine on brightly also, dear friend and brother.

A beautifully stated equation of Truth, jean-marc. Peace is the stillness within the wildest motion, the essential balance within all being, the joy within Awareness. My much wordier statement of this truth was penned in these poems;

Your piece is an excellently succinct statement of a simple truth.
Shine on brightly, brother.

dear belle, thank you for your precision. yes, it's right, with maturity, our understanding becomes dense like an old wine. with kindest wishes, sister-in-law.
-
By weighty, I am speaking of substance..something substantial, wisdom. I meant this as a highest compliment. Your sister-in-law,
Belle

hello blayde, thank you for your comment and remarks. well noted concerning the attachment to the thinking process. that's really the point! nice to meet you here, and also to have seen your beautiful hat on your welcome page.
-
thank you, belle, for your comment. finally, less we have, more we are. that might be the weight you are speaking about.
-
thank you, ankeeta! yes, up to the point... a short way to nowhere

Elemental beauty. The root of suffering released through the mind’s inner peace. There is too much doing and too much thinking, not that thinking is bad it is just that people are attached to ideas, as in the president of this America that I live in. Too much thinking about money and material. Eloquent poem!

Jean-Marc: a man of few words yet his wisdom carries impact and is weighty!
