Gold can mean a lot of things
Gold can be the color of victory
the color of a gold metal
and the color that athletes go for
Gold is the color of a sunset
that sinks into the sky at night
gold is the color of a sunrise
a new energetic light awakening the people on earth
Gold is the color of value
of jewelery
of the wedding ring i threw at my lost lover
gold is the color of the curtains I tore
because he gave it to me as a gift
Gold is the color of my living room walls
but now I feel that I can't live in that room
Gold is the color of his shirt
the shirt that i threw of of my window when he betrayed me
Gold objects show value, wins, and rises
But to me personally, gold is the color of the tears that I have cried

Gosh the beginning started out quite uplifting then it drifted into the sadness of heartbreak...you have expressed emotion so very well in this piece...the last line - the colour of tears being gold is a unique phrase...I enjoyed reading this thank you
