Rousing grace from broken heart redeemed,
This one writes of His face unseen;
For His pow’r shown through writes divine,
He tells her heart, “You are e’er Mine;”
And thus, she can’t but sing His praise,
And write poems; by such He’s raised;
She shakes the dark with His virtue,
And calms the fear of me and you;
Dear sis, I give this to your soul,
The pain you’ve felt has wrought you whole;
It is the crux of divine work;
His promise kept, and ne’er shirked;
This pain has brought you to our Lord,
And gave reason that you’re adored;
Without this pain you’d stay from Him,
Only to be lost in your sin;
But now this pain has broken you,
And brought you to Him Who’s e’er true;
He has become your life’s story,
While you’re His own form of glory;
May these small words invoke in you:
Abide in Him; tell all you’re new;
And stand and sing on mercy’s lee,
And He’ll call you, ”A form of Me!”

Bob... oh my... this is SO very touching and BEAUTIFUL!!! Outstanding really... filled with love for a sweet sister! Liz is worthy of this poem more than anyone I know.. she's such a sweet sis... lovely in every way!

I read this as though it were written for me because pain did bring me to the Lord of light and my heart sings his praises always. This is beautifully penned, uplifting and true and I'm glad you're pouring your gift into the needy world.

WOW! I am in tears...truly in tears...God Bless you Bob...and Praise the Lord for your muse. He has surely gifted you and by His giving you shall indeed give as well. For someone to have just met me....you my brother have seen straight into my soul..and heard the words of my heart. God sends those into our lives for a reason and I know that He has sent you as an encourager within my daily walk.
This is sooo beautiful....I would never have expected to recieve a gift like this ....
