Whats wrong with people today?
What happend to respect?
No one holds open doors,
Kindness is so hard to detect.
You watch your back constantly.
For fear someone's gonna stab it.
And whats with this racist/homophobic dilemma?
What happened to rights? Im not down with this shit.
Why are we just sitting here?
Why arent we fighting back?
Why are even giving president Bush,
One OUNCE! of slack?
Lets cut to the chase.
We're all tired of it.
But why wont anyone speak?
Why wont anyone fight it?
Im tired of your racist bullshit.
Im tired of backing down.
Ill work it out.
Whether I gotta go town by town.
Im tired of the country were livin in.
Home of the free, Land of the Brave.
Were not even allowed to love who we want!
Were just held captive and slaves.
Ill fight it.
Whether Im alone..
Or not.

Oh please rant. I wrote this poem to hear peoples view if you want to go on please do! ^.^ I love to hear other peoples views on situations but yes...unfortunately we are thought of as the anarchist ...when all we want is a better country.

you are not alone at all. i am sure so many including me feel this way, but speaking against something such as the government, according to some people reaks of a revolution and they think we are all anti-democracy anti-capitalist saluters just because we dont like our president and the way our government is being run. no matter what anyone says, we are just as much of a corrupt society as any government that we fought in history. too bad we are not strong enough to change anything...well i am ranting so... great write! you expressed your feelings well.

I really dont see why the hell they put him in back in office. He is probably the most ignorant people I have ever known.[besides my uncle lol] You should read my What Are You Going To Do. I have a feeling you'll like that one too.

You are definately not alone in this fight. I very much detest our president. He brought personal issues to the job, a job that affects the entire country! I can't stand racist and homophobic people. One of my friends got kicked out of school and was in trouble with the law for writing a poem about overthrowing the government!!! I'm also tired of having to watch my back and it feels like I can't trust anyone. I'm just glad I found another person who feels like I do.
