Yes, Indian summer only exists I think in the Northeast, and is a last chance to enjoy that warmth. I like the images of the sunglasses-like an Easter Parade at the other end of the year. And your venue is Central Park, it does paint a picture in the mind.

    dearest dennis,
yes, I love to write about winter in summer and sunshine when it's raining ... plus, when I asked my hubby if he knew the expression "indian summer" and the particularity of it, he said he didn't. I actually heard about and experienced indian summer during my stay in new york. maybe it only exists in this part of the earth ? I don't know ...
thank you so much for your visit, my brotherly friend,

    dear pixie,
yes, I always loved to stroll in central park, when I was living in new york ...
so I thought it would be nice to write about it in a haiku ...
I am glad you enjoyed it.
    thank you for your encouragement.

Marion, It's a bit early for Indian summer for me but I like your imagery in this Haiku. Write On, Sis!
