fleeting

i miss the way
you didn't love me

my previous addiction
has come back to haunt me
and all i want is to fade away
into my familiar melancholy

of course your every move
thrilled me
you were the spitting image
of what he did to me

what can I say about that?
Nothing you haven't heard...don't do that though okay?
You've come way to far to...way way way to far to go back.

    keep on writing!

This is very cryptic, I'm not sure I get exactly where the pain is coming from, but I loved the lines: "...fade away/into my familiar melancholy" very relatable! You allude to something more here, something very powerful and while I may not entirely be able to disipher what that is, I'm left perturbed. You've carried an air of mystery here, I'm left intrigued, great write!
