Greson .... (Acrostic)

Greson ….. (Acrostic)

Goodness from his heart flows forth
Resounding with its cry of worth
Eventually hope and faith come through
Sustained and fed by the morning dew
One day when all must by God be known
Newly written words by their songs have flown

Mothers weep and fathers feel the pride
Young sons have spoken from deep inside

As all who read his words so clear
Playful, morose, of love held dear

Someday when all the world is old
Only words can be held as gold
Now and forever their truths unfold

For my allpoetry son, Greson, a talented and loving person, inside and out.

This is a really hopeful poem, I’m glad he loved it I liked your use of rhyme and the acrostic form here, it can be challenging at times to rhyme an acrostic but you did it well. Keep writing, this was a lovely tribute to my AP brother I’ve gone from being an only child (in real life) to having so many siblings I can’t keep track, lol
Thanks for your comments. No, it wasn’t you I was warning, it was a poet who corrected my spelling of colour. Which kind of annoyed me as the second thing I learned about American English was ‘colour’= ‘color’ and I’m pretty sure everyone knows the two spellings. (The first thing was that the computer game which kept saying ‘way to go’ in a really American accent wasn’t asking ‘where d’you go?’- I kept answering with my primary (elementary) school name, took my mum to tell me what it was saying)
    All the best
    Pozo

Nice poem ^^, the words flowed nicely together and the rhyming added to this. From the poem, the reader can see the love you have for your son and tells the reader how great of a person he is. From this, I can say there was alot of emotions found in this piece. Keep up the great work and good poem ^.~ Thanks for sharing!

How sweet. I don't know Greson. If I go visit, is he one of those mean, spiteful, know-it-all types? I try to avoid them.

That is the biggest benefit of AP (I think) That we can encourage, pay tribute and show our love and friendship for other people.

May I be your AP baboon? I promise to be faithful and not leave banana peels around.

    Yes I know, I'm odd.

This is surely the workings of a loving mother's heart. Isn't ot something how our AP children feel so very much like our own. I must venture to greson's page for sure now. What a sincerely genuine and heartfelt tribute.

    Beautiful!

    Much LOVE Always ♥

Such kind words you have written here about him. It's not often you see words of encouragement written in this form.
