great glaciers
scraping granite
molding it
like clay
leaving behind
a group of huts
and flocks of crows
a land so vast
multitudes melt into it
like glacial waters
into stony vales
of spruce wood
Author notes

Thanks for the compliment and suggestions .I may come back to this poem in the future to expand on it .

You seem to be able to use word economy very well in your writing to create simple, yet effective images. I wonder how this would read if the first three sections were made active -
great glaciers
scrape granite
mold it
like clay
leave behind
a group of huts
I think the short lines add to the piece and its simplistic beauty.
Merci.
