Warrior of Peace

Tender with love that comes so divine,
And gentle in spirit, much like a dove;
Apparently you are in Him, refined;
A true mark of being borne from above;

Your heart holds so much great treasure,
As you sing to His glorious praise;
You bless all you touch, much to His pleasure,
As your words seek to make Him our gaze;

All that you have comes from this heart,
Which He has so richly implanted in you;
He proves by you a love that won’t part,
As you remind us of how He is true;

You are a true warrior of peace,
With love to fight for your great Prince,
By Whom, your war has finally ceased,
Enjoying the peace that you’ve had since;

Keep the heart that He’s given you,
And raise within it what it holds so great;
This Lord will steadfastly show Himself true,
And His joy will be your constant state.
