~~~~~~~~~~~~~and returns with the rustling of a vast eternity…
a heart sings in the midday light
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~flashing a spectrum of yellows and oranges

           that reflect a cheerful sun

mending a glad heart that endured.

    you are too kind, sis! The colors are to match this with a companion piece that is even more distracting!

    I found the changing of font colors a bit distracting , but absolutely loved the three versions of the poem ( especially the last one). I guess because that was the strong one. But the language throughout takes the reader along to the times and places

    mending a glad heart that endured.
    that line turns this entire poem into one that makes the reader realise what there is out there and all the reasons we do have to endure and survive (even if at times it does not feel like that)
    Best wishes in this contest ,
    always,
