"Visions Of Heaven"
The gates to heaven opened,
Angels all there to welcome you home.
In your death you foresee the beautiful lights,
The trumpets sounded softly with such delight......
Nothing more beautiful than,
The streets to heaven paved in gold.
For it is a new beginning for your soul,
Your body is resting now from life's heavy toll.....
Surrounded by peace and harmony,
Your soul is renewed by heavens reward.
The beauty of oceans and waterfalls,
Visions of heaven leaves your eyes in awe......
All your loved ones that have passed,
Joyfully have gathered all around you,
Celebrating your souls destined arrival.
You'll never feel lonely in this place called heaven....
Birds sing songs like a soothing orchestra melody,
Natures beauty shadows its warmth,like sunshine rays.
For there are no more hardships, nor a single tear,
Your soul has been lifted to heaven, without any fears.

I think it was a really novel and levelt poem but I do sugest changing the colors. They really hurt my eyes and made it hard for me to read your wonderful poem. Keep up the nice work.

I like your choice of words and your rhyme and flow.
Just a correction in the first line:
"The gates to heaven was opened" it should be "were" or "The gates to heaven OPEN" i like the second suggestion more.

this is very nice, and i'm sure we all hope that is what happens after death. very optimistic and uplifting..a rarity these days around here. it's also a little sad in a way, at least for me. what if it's not like that? but i really like this poem, you did a great job with it.
