He wraps his arms around me and kisses my lips
I lay my head down on him and listen to his heart beat
we both drift off to sleep
When i wake in the middle of the night
its his arms that i am in
It feels like a dream
but i know there is no other place i would rather be
There is just enough moon light shining threw the window
to make my ring glisten in its glow
I look down at our promise to each other
our forever and i smile thinking to myself
This is the man i am going to be with for the rest of my life
This is my soul mate
This is love
Then i drift back off to sleep

This is the best poem I have read so far from the contest. Everything was wonderful and the last two stanzas brought it to a perfectly crisp close. I wish you good luck in the contest although it seems you shouldn't need it, really.
