I know you are out there somewhere
Why don’t you want to be seen
I’ve searched all the usual places
But no one knows anything
I thought you was so happy
Being my best friend
I cannot understand it
Was it that bad for you to resent
Ok dear Faith I make a promise
Not to sing when you are asleep
So come out from wherever your hiding
And eat your bowl of meat
Ah there you are my friend
I suppose you heard what I said
Now come here give me your paw
Lets shake on my whistling instead.

terrific
I simply adore this poem Barb. I can imagine a child reading this and getting a deep feeling of love and understanding for their dog. This poem shows your ability to relate to children: which is, quite a challenge in writng in this genre. Hey! I kind of like it too. This also shows your fabulous diversity in your writng. [quite a talent] God Bless-- -
Aww how sweet I so miss having a dog.I have a killer cat though
He's vicious and refuses to conform
Hope all is good with you Babs.

perfect
Awww poor Faith... don't be bold Nanna and sing while your best friend is asleep
but it is naughty of Faith to run away too but I think you both deserve to be forgiven !
I make deals with Pal all the time by shaking his paw but he never keeps his end of the bargain
I love this poem
It made me smile to read and imagine it all
thank you for making me smile today because my throat is very hurty and I couldn't go to school so I was stuck at home all day. Resting is no fun
but reading this poem was lots of fun
Yay and I really am sooo glad that Faith came out of hiding
Maybe you could try whistling a lullaby. My grandda used to do that to help me sleep and its much quieter than singing
♥
lots of love
