Inspire who? You?

"Inspiration" is your "Muse" way deep down inside,

sit back, close your eyes and "let it be your guide"

It don't have to be nothing fancy or "show stoppers"

just writing from the heart makes the best tear droppers.

.

The most wonderful writes are from us looking around,

countrysides, a picture, this inspiration can be found.

Don't you ever give up on it and say that you’re through,

for "then you have failed" and that’s not what we do.

.

What is the first thing that comes to your mind?

Now go through the steps, for words your trying to find.

Are they humor? Are they sad? Are they "One of a kind?"

They are so simple when you are speaking your mind.

.

Words are not poetry without giving it a personal touch,

each poem is different, and why we enjoy writing so much.

We can let out feelings, memories, or things we hold true,

to keep them fresh and crisp, just like they were brand new.

.

So stop worrying, and pick-up a pencil or even a pen,

take a few quiet moments and go sit down in the den.

You'll be amazed at the things you will start to write down,

the smile on your face will return, no longer being a frown.

.

Firstly, thank you for entering something so well related to my current predicament. Secondly thank you for submitting something that I don't need a degree to read, even though I have one. The feel of this piece is upbeat whilst also being very powerful and inspirational. It was a pleasure to read a well crafted, straightforward, honest piece of poetry. I am printing it out and pinning it to my noticeboard as a contstant reminder. Many many thanks and good luck to you. xxx

oh this is just great. and so very true,
many of times i think every poet has felt this way.
words are so beautiful, when spoken, or written with love.
i believe one can live their life without many things,
but without words, what would we do.
i also believe that the best of the best poetry is written from the heart.
your write is such a wonderful inspiration to all poet alike.
    i for one thank you.
very good job and best lo luck !!!!
