Three O'clock in the Morning

I looked out the window
and saw you laying in my front yard
and all I could wonder was
what the hell you were doing.
So I walked outside
and asked you
and you said you were waiting for me
so that we could run away.
I told you we couldn't
because we had no idea
what we were doing with our lives
so how could we live
with no goals or money?
You shrugged, said I was right
and walked home
at three in the morning
after kissing me goodbye.
That was the moment I truly realized
I loved you.

This just happened last night and I felt I'd just write it down...? I dunno.

    Tis times like this that makes your heart yearn for that love. Far too often we fail to see love until it walks away. I do hope that this was not the end for you both and that maybe just maybe one day you both can run away together and really live out that love you hold so deeply. Nice Job!

    aww i wish that would happen to me! i'd leave in a second. im always doing stuff liek that to my bf... trying to have him take me away to somewhere far..

    anyways this was a great write=] keep up the good work! i loved the part: "You shrugged, said I was right

    after kissing me goodbye." very sweet. very adorable, haha i wish i could have seen this happen. although, after reading this... i felt like i have.
