The Triple Triple

Scrabble Is
A game of chance and luck with letters
A game of life that defines the now
A game played to control the thoughts of mindless numbers
Is it a testament to the power of prayer?
Is it a gift from a higher power?
Should we play to increase our skills
Or do our skills increase the play?

The "A" Game
Links our minds to our hearts inner thoughts
Links us to the knowledge of years gone by
Testifies to the truth of our inner remembrances
Why do we play?
Why do we crave the game?

Oracle of Insanity?
Does the board taunt our dreams to prophecize the coming of age?
Does the letters and words hide a meaning in there tiled crossings?
A sign from God or a breach of our mind's existance?

Scrabble...It's a life.

Has a lot of interesting word play, but maybe I'm just not familiar with the subliminal images relied on here. But stands well even in my ignorance. A puzzle within a poem?

the poem is all about a hidden phrase/subliminal. the line "the a game" is part of the hidden message, which is in my author's comment box. however, it also deals with scrabble and the letters in scrabble, hence the "a". i guess it would make more sense if i put it in quotation marks. as for the repetition, it is supposed to be read as if the beginning line is at the front of the sentence. like "scrabble is a game of luck...", "scrabble is a game of chance..." describing what the "title" of each section is. does that make more sense?

I like this a lot, but there were a few parts that i have suggestions for/that i don't understand.

    *I don't get the line "The A Game". I don't know if i'm just stupid, or what-but I didn't understand that line.

*Again, with this piece there's a lot of repetition...which sometimes is okay, but at times I think it distracts from the piece. I'd suggest going through and seeing where it adds to the piece and where it takes away from the words.

I think that's about it. Great piece you have here, keep it up!
