would have had a fit.
you lived in a differant state
but would visit every holiday
my love for you never changed
and never went away.
11 years now have passed
and your love for me
still survives.
you help me as best you can
to help me stay alive.
you forgave me through my tears
and all of the lies.
you brought me through the darkness
and taught me its okay to cry...

ASww this poem is such a beautifully written and expressed poem! I loved how deep and passionaite your bond with your best friend is like. I remember my 1st love and best friend sadly she passed away after we both graduated high school and we had such a deep connection. I enjoyed this poem alot and very beautifully inked please keep on writing as this is such a beautiful poem
