Perchance a summer day on nigh
To walk among the leaves of grass,
To view the wonders under cerulean sky
And talk of that which will come to pass.
Step lightly in the summer air
As the soaring sun does set,
And cling to our love’s sweet affair
Love never to forget.
Hold me close to your fast beating heart
And struggle with me through the strife,
As from here on in is our sturdy start
To survive together in life.
we lie under the darkness above
Shining stars now a’watching,
Our passion but a gentle dove
And the cane of life we’re notching.
A gentle soul to encompass me,
A loved love returned ten fold,
As one we are now set free
To find life’s joy untold.
