Girl

A girl in the library, looks sadder and sadder
pretending to read some sort of adventure.
A girl who sits drawing swirls on paper
watching them slowly get bigger and bigger
pressing the pen down deeper and deeper
tears through the paper,
a blue tear on the table.

Ooh, that's really cool! I love the ending, definitely catches me by surprise. It reminds me of a haiku ending, actually... in haikus, they call it the "Aha!" moment. You could probably even make it a (contemporary) haiku as well, along the lines of:
    pen presses deeper
    drawing swirl on paper:
    blue tear on table

Anyhow, that's just something that came to my head. Well done E!
