Dear Daddy,
Thank you for always lending an ear,
For always being close and very near.
Even when you had to be at your job,
You found time to drive me to school,
So I could learn and not be a fool.
You are the very best father anyone ever had,
And I think so, even when I’m very mad.
For paying for camp, acting, Hebrew school and more,
And for buying me stuff the rare times we go to the store.
Thanks so much for teaching me to play my favorite sport,
Downhill skiing and roller hockey, a tie of a sort.
For putting up with Nirvana and Fall Out Boy every morning,
And when I am bad probably giving me too many warnings.
For making me watch Spiderman, I loved it a lot,
And for taking me to scary movies when mommy would not.
Watching Family Guy and The War At Home whenever we can,
In being a great dad, you’re the number one man!
You’re the royal standard poodle of the house,
And you came up with “hamster” which isn’t a mouse.
Bringing home Bruce, what a surprise!
He is a very smart poodle, I hope Loli’s just as wise!
