I've seen her out in the fields of sadness, lying inside the petals of a blackened rose.
She knew the truth, she was always happy, yet her choice was to be so perfect and alone.
Sometimes I thought maybe a little thumb prick would be okay if I could pick her up and restore the sunlight of my eclipse.
Instead though I stand here feeling the song of emptiness clear away the images of vivid lies which burn at my regenerating skin.
Thinking back on it, I realize what is in front of me is just a memory, and what I need to do is back away from this shattering mirror and live in a different frame of myself.

Ah, so many confuse prose with poetry! You, my dear, have the heart of a poet, using your dreaming imagery to express what cannot be expressed with mere words. This is much more than a "pretty poem". This is life itself. Thank you for sharing your soul with the world! Please keep writing. -
this poem is very subtitle, although it is very good.

I really love the imagery you used in this poem. what a beautiful word picture you have painted. i can almost see her. you use metaphors very well. love it!

Interesting... I really love your word usage, but something about the way you've constructed the lines takes away from the impact. I think it's just that, given that they're so long, it sounds more like prose than poetry. I don't know, maybe that was the effect you were going for... but the really vivid images are a bit lost in the long lines, in my opinion. Overall, though, I like it! ^_^

quite good
This is a pretty poem. I like that it is expressive and that it shows more emotion than physical aspects.
