dreams dangled before my eyes
are tales eagerly bought,
sending shivers down my spine
and seducing my thoughts.
visions of tomorrow
are hopes wrapped in lies,
still I find solace in
dreams dangled before my eyes.
desires swim before me,
get tangled and caught,
with each passing moment
are tales eagerly bought.
in these beautiful deceptions
your lips brush against mine,
and our fingertips meet
sending shivers down my spine.
I wish I could tell you,
with these ideas I've fought,
but you're igniting my passion
and seducing my thoughts.
