Skin to skin
and
lips to lips,
it would be so easy to commit irrational suicide
in an instant and completely close this page-turner of a woman.
But I learned my mistake last time
when I closed it after only reading the author's
liner notes.
...And we all know
that authors only tell interesting fables on the outside
to lure us to the bait that they say lies within.
This time I'm ducking behind the black curtains
to hide from the paparazzis' flashes
so that I don't become another pretty picture
inside the book of failed lives,
but that of a reader of an addictive nature.
I made the oath to her tonight,
with a fresh quill and a cup full of ink
that she's on her way to become another bestseller.

Complex concept. I believe this is about writing a novel about a woman? Or is it about raising a female child into a woman? It also seems to be a tribute to inspiration. Anyway, A for originality.
