When all time has stopped,
and all daylight shatters to an end
Where is the voice that swayed?
That stood by my side?
Searching through time, space and dust
Embracing the feel of everlasting trust
Grains of sand slipping through tips
So smooth, so soft, yet graceless and weak.
Engines blaring through my mind,
as tears and blood drip down my sides.
Pain moves from veign to veign,
every inch screaming,
every breath nausiating.
Secrets lying, drenching the floor
Evaporating dreams and hopes
fade into the starry sky of blues and reds.
Embrace unwelcomed,
homes more feared.
Touch unbearable,
skin unreal.
Too much is too much,
and lines are drawn thin
nothing can save a soul cast out into darkness
to fend for it's hope
A dream long sought,
burning in fear
embers and ashes scatter the road
barring it from the freedom of sight.
A world in the making, a world that's unwhole
dying and breaking to sooth and control.
