Division in a State of mind

Beneath troubled waters lies tranquility
Heavenly abysmal
It contains no ending to glee
But above these waters
Is but a barren existence
And dark skies
Which foretell a future
Of pain
Of misery
But I live in world between the two
Half in a world of glee
Mania some may say
But also when reality crashes
Upon my head
I find sadness overwhelms me
And my mind is searching for a cure
For something to survive
Living in two very divided worlds

Author notes

If you cannot conclude from the poem this is about bi-polar disorder or manic depressive..i did not intend for this to be a sad piece but i just sat down and wrote and this is what came out..

clever take on the picture for it does show two separate worlds that are united.
thanks for entering and best of luck
