Brought to earth with heaven's power,
spills forth a cloak of devotion's showers.
Ruler of magik with a fiery sword,
find in his care devotion to our sweet Lord.

WOW! Wonderful poem, my friend! Your research on the Archangel Uriel is awesome and an act of good karma which I am sure He is pleased with and has blessed you for. You have spent quite some time writing this, I can tell from the flawless rhymes, wonderful vocabulary, excellent imagery, beautiful metaphors, wonderful alliterations and delightful flow of this poem. The poem flows like a song because you took care of meter too. I enjoy reading poems on angels and Archangels and other divine beings. When I saw the title of this, I knew I had to read it. The affirmation of the Archangel Uriel that I use is: "Divine light shines from within. I am eternally radiant, loving and wise". Uriel is the Regent of the Sun and is the most radiant of the Archangels. He rules over thunder and terror. Sometimes, he is seen with a book at his feet, which is the one he gave to Adam with all the medicinal herbs in it. What I like most about him is that he helps us to decode our inner voice. He is also known as the Flame of God, Angel of the Presence, Angel of Salvation, Prince of Light, Angel of Repentance(thus he being the Angel of Repentance helps us to understand the laws of karma) and Interpreter of Prophecies. I also appreciate him very much because he helps us trust in the Divine Plan and when things are not going our way, he helps us to recognise that whatever is happening is for the highest good and greatest joy.
Thank you for brightening my morning with this delightful ode to Uriel.
