Once there was a lioness, she was very fair,
she lingered near a large white wolf and tended to his lair
when upon it came a fluffy cat from a city far away
she would show this putty tat that only one should stay
so in her room at night she'd plot and plan her deed
gathering her tools and friends to establish what she'd need
she would teach that prissy thing just how to run the roost
when she'd send him from their sacred cave upon his fat caboose
"He's very durable," said lioness to the pups, "do with him as you like."
this, for sure she thought, would make this kitty take a hike
the house cat though, had made them friends and batting turned to play
lioness shook her head and sighed, for this was not okay
"Kitty needs a bath," she'd tsk, and toss him in the lake
he had no fleas and was not amused, of this make no mistake
that very night she came to find a distinctly kitty scent upon her bed
oh she would show this furball, she would mount that kitty head
she waited in the morning, sharpened sheers set in her paws
she'd been tested to her end of wits, this kitty was the cause
he'd always make a mess, then point an arrogant nose her way
she was such a good lioness, he was the one who could not behave
the way he always pranced and preened like he should be adored
but how much prancing would that kitty do if it were a he no more
and then he came just strutting by as if he owned the place
she swatted, and sent him into a wall to smash that pretty face
ears were flattened and growls persist as a cat fight did ensue
a frantic ball of spats and fur, that lioness knew kung fu
they fought for days, tireless in their feline rage
kitty thought they should have kept that lioness in a cage
in the end no one will win, as this tale it not complete
but don't be so certain when you see that litter trail of kitty feet
it could be a trap that's meant for a lioness and not for you
wouldn't want to get caught up in flinging streams of kitty poo
