I lay under the moonlit sky,
And stare up into the heavens.
Searching for an answer,
All I get is rain.
Tears are my friend,
Happieness is my enemy.
I live in your darkest dreams,
Thrive on your lightest hopes.
One night,
Under the star studded sky,
I'll float down from heaven,
And take you into the dark.
Have you ever flown upon an angel?
Have you ever been into the pit of the beast?
Will you ever denie happiness,
Just to see the light?
Flying atop darkened clouds,
We'll watch the humans go about their lives.
And with each tear drop of ours,
Hundreds of them will drown.
Are you really the evil one?
Do you truly want to be as cold as ice?
If so, hold my hand,
And we'll fly into the night.

denie = deny cool man, not bad.

I really like this poem, it is very beautiful, especially "And with each tear drop of ours,
Hundreds of them will drown."
I think you spelled "denie" wrong, other than that, this is a great write. -
Excellent work, hun. Good luck in the contest.
