I am as sick
as one could be
Wishing it were someone else
and not me.
I crawl up on the couch
or on the bed if I make it.
I feel so bad at times
I can't move a bit.
The kids are asking
for food and this and that.
Please someone just hit me in the head
with that Tee Ball bat.
I hope this goes away
real soon.
Though I know what it is
and it will take more than just a few moons.
Hopefully it wont be
to many days.
Because y'all need me
in so many different ways.

What's worse is I think I may lose a friend also which is making me even more sick.

My mom is really sick with the flu or something..And to add yo the hastle a mothers job is never done..im getting a cold too and it sucks big time..Great write, i like how you used all the feelings that you have when you are sick and you write them down perfectly..We all feel like bums when we are sock.

oh how i hate being ill... (i'm ill right now to be honest) the worst feeling ever... but i guess we all have to get along with what life has to bring us... about your friend i hope everything works out fine... worse than being ill is losing a friend.
