IN a life of poverty i am sorry to say
In a life of poverty may the LORD forgive me
In a life of poverty i am scared to sya
In a life of poverty life aint to great
IN a life of poverty i hate it
In a life of poverty you must lie and steal
In a life of poverty just for a warm meal
In a life of poverty people say you are a bum!
BUT IN A LIFE OF POVERTY YOU ARE MORE YOU ARE A NORMAL PERSON TRYING TO GET ON WITH A NORMAL LIFE EVEN THOUGH YOU CANT NOW THATS A LIFE OF POVERTY

    I once wrote a poem called "Ghetto" which reminds me of your poem. You have a real gift. I felt your sentiments all too well. I'm not that financially endowed myself. Peace.

    Well you can always go back and edit if you feel like it. I do think this one needs some work too. Maybe some more description of what it is like to be poor. Some vivid details would be good.
