You stand in this room
Your nature is trapped inside
You can’t release me
I hide within these shades of self realization
I am you darker side
Reaching for something unreachable
I am the fiend inside
Tearing at what is mine
Your incarcerated emotions

Oh how divine!
Inaccessible me
How blinded I be
Cut off from the familiarity

Oh recurrence how hauntingly you tear at me
Ripping me from side to side and showing all that I hide
Leaving me exposed and naked to all truths and lies

Does this distort our propaganda?
Does this darkness shroud the light?
Do you care for fatal simplicity?
Why must you run and hide?
Would you in fact risk your life to save me from mine?
I have no choice but to remain confined to me inside

How blinded I be
Cut off from familiarity

I wage war with you!
My inner demons,
My inner shadows,
My never ending night,

Within me is emptiness and contradictions;
I warned you!
Beware this troublesome spirit!
Approach with caution!
Leave no witnesses!

Divided bloodlines,
Divided inside,
Torn between what is wrong and right
Ambivalence serves no purpose except to bind time
