When I couldn’t figure out or differentiate between things, you could always show me the truth.

You introduced me to new and exciting experiences and brought me indescribable happiness.

All the times that I messed up, you still forgave me.

*For every dream you made come true*
Little by little, you helped me work through things to help me achieve the things I sought.

*For all the love I found in you*
I have always treasured the love and devotion you have always shown and given me, though I could never successfully express my appreciation no matter how I tried.

It would take me a lifetime to show you how thankful I am for you.

*You're the one who held me up*
I felt supported and protected by you in times I had no structure.

*Never let me fall*
You held onto me, even when I started to slip, or slipped.

*You're the one who saw me through, through it all*
You were always the one who helped guide me through the rough times, despite my frustrations.

*You gave me wings and made me fly*
I felt new heights and happiness in my strength I found from you.

*You touched my hand I could touch the sky*
I always felt secure and comforted by you that my confidence became renewed.

*I lost my faith, you gave it back to me*
You reminded me of the potential I had to succeed and restored my will and courage when I forgot to believe in myself.

*You said no star was out of reach*
You always knew and encouraged me that nothing is beyond my grasp to accomplish, as long as I put my mind to it and actually tried.

*You stood by me and I stood tall*
Through your loyalty, devotion, and love for me, I was able to follow your example and be uplifted.

*I had your love I had it all*
You have given me anything and more of your love than I would have ever dreamed to be graced by you.

*I'm grateful for each day you gave me*
Through both good and bad, I always looked forward to be given each day to spend with you.

*Maybe I don't know that much*
I certainly don’t know a lot, or even nearly as much as you know, and I’m always receptive to that wisdom.

*But I know this much is true*
By looking in my heart, I am positive about certain things I have experienced, especially with you.

*I was blessed because I was loved by you*
I have always felt a certain calming grace from your love that makes me feel worthy of you and that you chose me to love.

*You were always there for me*
I know I could always count on you and feel secure knowing you were always only a phone call or message away when I needed you, day or night.

*The tender wind that carried me*
You could always be gentle with me, and still be firm in your guidance.

*A light in the dark shining your love into my life*
You helped open my eyes, and led me lovingly through any confusion when I felt lost and alone.

*You've been my inspiration*
Thoughts of you infiltrated my mind and always inspired me with new realizations to do greater things in life than I would have thought to accomplish on my own.

*Through the lies you were the truth*
Where I got lost in all the lies, you remained ever patient to get me to realize and separate the two so that I would become a better individual.

*My world is a better place because of you*
It wasn’t until you entered my life, that I truly began to see the world in a greater perspective and felt my life beautifully enriched.  

*You were my strength when I was weak*
You gave me that self-confidence and self-worth to not be timid and stand my own.

*You were my voice when I couldn't speak*
You always knew what to say when my mouth couldn’t form the words that were in my heart and mind.

*You were my eyes when I couldn't see*
You saw for me the things I was too naive or was blind to, even right in front of me.

*You saw the best there was in me*
You recognized me for who I am, the depth I hold, and even brought out the best in me.

*Lifted me up when I couldn't reach*
When I was down and felt all hope was lost, you lifted my spirits to reach for my goals.

*You gave me faith 'coz you believed*
You showed me and helped me to feel and believe the potential I have to succeed.


*I'm everything I am*
I’m forever grateful for all you’ve taught me and the room to let me grow.
*Because you loved me*
Your love for and towards me has always been uniquely special in all aspects.

I wouldn’t be nearly the person I am today, had I not been enlightened by you.

Your love is what has always kept me going.
