She wished she was outside,
But the sky was crying.
Wishing to escape her prison,
Only staying because it was warm.
Hemmed in by her inability to act,
To stand and demand release,
To break away from the expected.
What is society but a prison.
Leave her cell to walk in the rain.
Choosing a cold and wet freedom,
Staying warm and dry instead.
