Day after day
She sits on the end of her bed
Crying
Asking herself unanswerable questions
She'll sit there for hours
Rubbing the red parts raw
Made by her mother
The one who couldn't hold back
Her smile is fading away
As she prays every night
Asking God to end it all
Erase every last scar
Each night she goes to bed
Wishing tomorrow will be better
If not
Please don't come at all
If given one last question
She'd ask why
All she ever did was love
All she ever did was smile
She sits on the end of her bed
Crying
Asking herself unanswerable questions
She'll sit there for hours
Rubbing the red parts raw
Made by her mother
The one who couldn't hold back
Her smile is fading away
As she prays every night
Asking God to end it all
Erase every last scar
Each night she goes to bed
Wishing tomorrow will be better
If not
Please don't come at all
If given one last question
She'd ask why
All she ever did was love
All she ever did was smile

Good imagery
I really liked the last part because it contrasted that she didn't deserve what she went through.
Great Job! -

This poem is beautiful. Your thoughts and emotions are expressed so effectively throughout this tender poem. I am sitting here with a heavy heart reading these words. To know that this is a true accounting is something that makes me very sad. To know that this is something that has happened to one of the sweetest people that I know, makes me cry.
Thank you for sharing this and increasing awareness . -

Hey, I really don't like depressing poetry but this one caught my attention. I actually liked it and I honestly wish that there was something i could do to make you happy. So if you can, put on a smile for me even though i can't see you.
