Change and Patience

Two kinds of good women exist in this realm of evolution towards peace,
the fighters on the forefront and your peacekeepers in the shadows.
A young girl with a fierce aspiring journalist type mind breaks through,
with each word across the paper another Republican bites the dust.

Corporate lies are revealed and dispelled because of her vigilante ways,
true heroine of a society on the verge of a psychotic breakdown.
And then at the next bus stop sits another superhero her nose in a book,
this wonderful woman gives her bus seat to an elderly grandmother.

Somewhere a child smiles because those stories the girl on the bus told,
divine innocence will now spend a lifetime praying for peace and love.
The vigilante journalist cuts through the air with words of frustration,
not one claim they did not hear her loud voice for she will be heard.

Maybe the politicians will cave under her nearly omnipresent pressure,
and then maybe everyone in the lower middle class can eat today.
The girl on the bus explains an allegory of the goddess to another,
she made a friend and inspired some more peace into this world in need.

A little boy sits on a park bench weeping endlessly as she walks by,
without hesitation offers the boy a tissue and a smile.
Now a happy child he will pay it forward by making his mother smile,
he spent hours and hours in the valley picking flowers for her.

Both kinds of girls exist to maintain the balance of change and patience,
one is a soldier and the other is a muse to many a people.
Love, peace, and happiness is the ultimate goal and in the end...

It's all that matters.

    Stunning

I am in love with this as it explains exactly how I feel. I am one of those girls! As are you, I am sure. ( Unless you are a boy.. heeehee). Honestly, I love this. Thank you for sharing with us. Well done. Tink
