classically spinning
whirlwinds of sound
trying my ears of patience
but the ringing has vanished
the hole is swelling
and sighing becomes my way of breath.
within the cuts of stars we lie
two nautical beings enslaved
glitter dust, we brush off our arms
unphased as the irises of our eyes pierce the sun
we will beat its shine
and this night will end
in a blissful rise of white.

Kim, this is utterly divine. What an interesting perspective on love. Your imagery is most enchanting, but maybe this one is a little too short. I guess I only say that because I begin to get greedy when I dive into a new work of yours. I wish you'd go on and on. You're nothing short of genius. I really feel that your poems have so much thought put into them. And even in this cold little heart of mine, your words bring back the sensation of romance. ~Summer
